ProfitableFarming.com Corporation respects the privacy of each user of our Web Services and have instituted policies intended to ensure that your personal information is handled securely and protected from viewing by other users.

A link to our Privacy Policy is displayed at the bottom of each web page generated by our Web Services.  This Privacy Policy informs you what kind of information we collect, how it is handled and with whom it may be shared. In an ongoing effort to provide proper levels of security and take advantage of technologies to improve the services we offer, this policy may change. We encourage you to refer to this privacy policy statement on an ongoing basis so that you understand the privacy policy in effect when you use our services.

Anonymous Users and their Privacy

Most of our Web Services are available of your use on an anonymous basis and do no require your registration nor any user identifiable information.  When using our Web Services your computer will be issued a cookie or other device to maintain uniqueness as you navigate the website and use our Web Services.  On return visits to our website, cookies will enable the calculators and wizards to recreate the input from prior visits and thus "remember" your acres, yields, crop prices and other farm-specific information.

Registered Users and their Privacy

To use the FieldPlan Calculator and certain other Web Services, you will be required to register with your email address or other identification.  As a security measure, you may be asked to create a password for your account which will be required on each visit to registered areas of the website.  Please use a valid email address to assist in supplying you with a lost password or other sensitive information. 

As you use the Web Services, you will be revealing information about your farm or business.  ProfitableFarming.com Corporation will not disclose the detailed information provided by you to third parties, however, we may summarize the information and may report summary information to others in a manner that protects your privacy and does not disclose your identity. ProfitableFarming.com Corporation may use the email address provided by you to notify you of enhancements to our service and to maintain your registration information, including revision of your password.  We may also email information deemed valuable to the Registered User.

ProfitableFarming.com Corporation has taken reasonable steps to ensure your privacy, however we cannot guarantee that the information will be immune to exposure because of technical problems, the deliberate actions of unauthorized intruders into the Website, or other factors.

Cookies, why and how we use them

We use cookies to control entry and use of selected Web Services offered by ProfitableFarming.com.  A cookie is a small piece of information sent by a website that is used on a temporary session basis by your browser or saved as a persistent text file on your hard disk.
